INDEPENDENT REVIEWS

1. Logan Ellis (NZ)

Logan Ellis is a New Zealand performer, producer and teacher. His January 2022 review of the album is summarised here:

"This is definitely a decent album. The instrument performances were fairly golden. The complexities of the instrumentation and the arrangements ... there was some parts that were really high level and you would need to have been studying music for a while in order to be able to understand or accomplish [it]. So much to put in there and for them to have recorded, mixed and mastered as well as they did is ... really difficult, but they managed to do it. It's one of those albums where I've listened to it once and I enjoyed it."

2. Jess Chizuk (USA)

Jess Chizuk is an indie-folk/Americana singer-songwriter from Buffalo, NY, with a number of songwriting awards and achievements under her belt and a busy performer across the USA. Her January 2022 review of the album is summarised here:

"The approach Greg & Martin took with this project as Nothing At All is unique – two artists working mostly independently on a collaboration is no doubt an unconventional method. But for this duo, we find cohesion and synchrony on Prescient. Though there are marked differences between their styles, each writer’s artistic process is honored and displayed in turn, never overshadowing the other and adding to the overall scope of the musical project at hand. And at the conclusion of it all, beyond the quality writing, the smart production choices, the performances and instruments selected with intent – it is clear that the seamless melding of these musical minds remains the most compelling feature of this wonderfully balanced album."
